Dabinderjit is one of the most senior Directors at the National Audit Office (NAO) and Principal Adviser for the Sikh Federation (UK). He received an OBE in 2000 for his work at the NAO, equal opportunities and representing the Sikh community. He has been a Director at the NAO for over 15 years and served for two years as a non-executive director on the Board of Transport for London. Dabinderjit is the equivalent of the most senior Sikh civil servant in the UK and recognised internationally as a leading figure in the Sikh community.
Dabinderjit serves as a respected adviser to many organisations and public bodies, including the Met Police and has regularly represented the Sikh community in the media and press interviews and has been the architect of UK and European Sikh political activities and campaigns over the past 15 years.
